Precision Strip Inc. specifies EP’s waveform correction technology
Founded in Minster, Ohio in 1977, Precision Strip Inc. is the nation’s largest toll processor of metal, processes, stores, and delivers rolled steel, aluminum, and copper to the automotive, appliance, industrial products, and beverage can industries.
Precision Strip has eleven locations Alabama, Kentucky, Tennessee, and Ohio. Their facilities include 2.5 million square feet of building space housing 27 slitting lines, nine cut-to-length lines; four oscillate slit lines, one edge conditioning line, one sheet slitter, and one perforating line.
Precision Strip designs, builds and upgrades all its own equipment and they have found that isolation transformers do provide enough protection from noise and surge issues. In 2013 Precision Strip tested Environmental Potentials’ waveform correction technology. The results were conclusive! EP provided maximum protection of key components.
After seeing the results, Precision Strip decided to make EP’s waveform correction technology a standard on all new projects and they have worked to install it on all existing lines. EP is extremely proud to partner with Precision Strip and protective its extensive assets.
